We had the oyster mushrooms and they were out of this world amazing, a unique vegetarian option exploding with flavor. “ Stopped by for a quick bite during our trip to Victoria and found the place to be impressively spacious and well-designed, boasting a modern aesthetic. They offer a wide range of options catering to diverse tastes, and we opted for the classic burger and Korean fried chicken. While the burger was satisfactory, it fell short of the juiciness I anticipated. However, the fries and dips were enjoyable. The Korean fried chicken lacked the expected punch, but the in-house sodas we ordered were delightful. Service was efficient, with courteous staff attending to our needs promptly. Overall, it was a decent experience. ”

“ We came for happy hour. It’s super nice that they have happy hour specials. The space was nice and clean. We liked the tacos. The noodles were good though quite heavy, same for the poutine. The service was really poor. The place was practically empty and we were seated quickly. The server rushed off and I had to stop him to ask about the happy hour. We were unable to order for a while because he was nowhere to be found. He didn’t really come by to check on us or refill the waters (except once, despite them being empty most of the time—the water cups are small). We got his attention after a while to ask for boxes and a bill, and he brought us boxes but no bill. We had to wait in line to get the bill at the front and pay, which took a while since folks were waiting for someone to help them. The food is okay, but the service could use work. It’s nice to see a new vegan restaurant in Victoria, so I hope they improve with time. Edit: Updating to 4 stars for fantastic after-review outreach and service. ”

“ Haven’t been impressed by a restaurant in a long time, in fact I’m usually disappointed. However, the food here is great and keeps you guessing. What is it made out of when there’s no eggs/dairy/meat? Who knows, but it tastes delicious and there’s so many new flavours I haven’t had before, the happy burger and the gnocchi was amazing and during happy hour was quite cheap! When it was getting late and the sun was setting they dimmed the lights and brought all the diners a candle for their table. The mood lighting was perfect and it felt special to eat here. ”

“ Came from the Lower Mainland to this wonderful place to get my favorite Thai noodles, and my boyfriend had his mac and cheese. The food is alright; the Thai noodles I ate were a little hard. Tastes are okay. Excellent service. Was greeted with a friendly staff, the food was coming fast, and the restaurant atmosphere was cozy. ”

“ The food is fantastic. They have a wide variety of vegan options to satisfy even the most picky eaters. Even as a group of mostly meat eaters, everyone left full and satisfied. Now from a service perspective, the hostess was happy and helpful and amazing. Our waiter however, left much to be desired. Beyond bringing water initially and taking our order, he seemed to keep as far away from our table as possible. Water glasses were left empty, none of the coffee drinkers were offered refills (though he could be seen at other tables refilling coffee), and there was no stopping in to just make sure things were going well. This might have been “acceptable” except for the forced 18% tip on our table (as we were a larger group). I get this when large groups end up being more work for the wait staff, but he did less for us than the tables around us. We were left mostly forgotten. I guess he knew his tip was secured so why bother. Food was amazing, atmosphere is great, selection is plentiful, but being forced to pay an extra 18% for less service than those who got to choose their tip, unfortunately left a bad taste. ”
